平成8年 東北大学大学院工学研究科資源工学専攻 修了後、京セラ株式会社、科学技術振興事業団 国際共同研究事業 ICORPプロジェクト研究員、文部科学省計算材料研究者養成ユニット 研究員、京都大学産官学連携本部 産学官連携准教授を経て、平成22年より現職。平成17年 京都大学にて工学博士(論文)学位取得。 専門は、無機化学、非線形光学、ナノフォトニクス。2022年よりSPIEフェロー、Chinese Optics Letters (COL) Topical Editor。
